Just Play WNC is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers to soccer and providing access to the beautiful game for all children and families in our region.
Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through soccer.
Just Play began as an initiative of Asheville City Soccer Club in 2018, aiming to broaden access to soccer in our hometown. Since then, we have donated hundreds of soccer balls, increased opportunities for children to join local camps and leagues, and supported free admission to Asheville City SC games for kids.
In 2022, Just Play became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, further expanding its efforts to break down barriers in our region.
Asheville City SC was the birthplace of Just Play WNC and remains a key supporter of our mission. We collaborate closely with the club to implement our programs and engage with the community. Our shared commitment to promoting soccer access in the region is a driving force behind our partnership.

We donate soccer balls to children across all communities in Western North Carolina to increase their opportunities to play soccer wherever they are

We support street soccer and pickup games throughout our community, promoting soccer in streets, alleys, and on dirt patches because soccer can played anywhere

Our partnership with Asheville City SC supports them providing free or discounted admission for children 12 & under to all the ACSC men’s and women’s games
